The Mathematics department of DPS Kolar Road conducted the inter-house Math -e- Artic Competition for classes IV and V. The students created stunning artwork using fractional cutouts of a circle. Once again, our Dipsite Vivaan Dubey of class VII-A proved that the price of success is hard work, dedication, and the determination to apply the best to the task at hand. Vivaan has participated in the National Competition-HCL Jigsaw 5.0. After clearing 4 rounds consisting of solving individual worksheets, team projects, and team presentations as a problem solver, on the topic - AR/VR Improving In-Patient Experience, he made it to the Finale - the Jury Round which was held today. Vivaan and his team have won the runner-up position. The competition was valuable experience and inspiring to become a problem solver and see the world from a different perspective. Principal Mrs.Vandana Dhupar congratulated Vivaan and the teacher in-charge for the meritorious achievement.
Teachers are the choreographers of life’s dance, guiding each step with grace, rhythm, and purpose. GENIUS IS TEN PERCENT INSPIRATION AND 90 PERCENT PERSPIRATION Students of DPS KOLAR Road have once again proved their mettle. Rotary Club of Bhopal Midtown organised 11th Annual Rotary Inter School General Knowledge Quiz for students of Classes 9-12. This prestigious quiz competition was supported by Directorate of Archeology, Archives and Museums. 18 Schools from all over Bhopal participated in the quiz competition. The quiz was conducted in three rounds. Written round was conducted on 21st August 2024. Top scorers Aryan Singh and Shaurya Jaiswal made it to the Semi Final Round. In the semi final there were three groups of six schools each. The winners of each group participated in the Final Round. The students of DPS Kolar bagged the first position and reached the final round. They won the appreciation and accolades during the quiz for their smart decision making and swift answering. AFS Regional Meet The Scindia School Gwalior Delhi Public School Kolar Road participated in the AFS India Regional Meet for Central Zone Member Schools, focusing on "Conscious Choices: Environmental Awareness and a Sustainable Tomorrow." Held from 30th August to 1st September 2024 at The Scindia School, Gwalior, the event brought together students, educators, and environmental experts from various schools to discuss and exchange ideas on critical environmental issues and sustainable practices. Representing our school, Ms. Anshu Kanotra, AFS Coordinator along with students Devjeet Singh Dogra (Class IX) and Avinendra Singh (Class XI), actively engaged in the meet. The event commenced with an inspiring keynote address by Mr. Rakesh Khatri, fondly known as the 'Nestman of India,' who emphasized adopting sustainable practices to combat climate change and preserve our planet for future generations. Students actively participated in hands-on activities, learning practical ways to implement sustainable practices in their schools and communities. The day continued with informative sessions led by AFS representatives, followed by student activities, a band display, visit to the ecological park and the Astachal. Each participating school also had the opportunity to share its green initiatives, fostering a collaborative spirit towards a sustainable future. DPS Kolar Road participated in District level Pratibha Protsahan Pratiyogita organised by Madhya Pradesh Rashtra Bhasha Samiti, Ravi Shankar Shukla Hindi Bhavan bhopal on 30th August 2024. Manav Anish Jose of class XI won 1st Prize in a folk song competition. He has brought laurels to DPS Kolar for two consecutive years and has been the best. The Bundeli Folk Song sung by Manav was highly appreciated by the judges and audience. Manav was awarded a 500 Rs cash prize, a certificate, and a trophy.
