"DPS Kolar in Bhopal hosted the largest institutional MUN conference, a three-day event from 20th June to 22nd June 2025, that saw participation from students of various schools and colleges. The conference was well-organized, and the students showcased excellent debating skills and impressive performances. On June 21, 2025, International Yoga Day was celebrated at TT Nagar Stadium, Atal Path, in Bhopal. Students from various schools and colleges participated enthusiastically and performed yoga, with the Prime Minister joining live. Students from Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra, specifically from classes 6th, 7th, and 8th, also participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their performances. FINAL DAY 3 MUN CHAPTER # 7 Model United Nations is a great hope for broadening the horizon for a peaceful and free world. The event spanned over 3 days and involved several parallel sessions of different UN committees. The MUN Conference was a resounding success. It not only provided a platform for intellectual discussion but also helped shape participants into future leaders. Events like these inspire students to think globally, act diplomatically, and lead responsibility. The conclusion of a Model United Nations (MUN) conference is a time for reflection on the debates, resolutions, and overall experience. It's a moment to acknowledge the skills developed, the knowledge gained, and the connections forged. Digital Revolution or Digital Invasion. Cracking the Code: Why Are Girls Missing from India's Tech Future? Your Health, Their Data: Who Really Controls Your Medical Information. The included COMMITTEES are WHO, UNGA, AIPPM, UNHRC, and UNSC. Delegates will present constructive debates, fruitful collaborations. Madam Principal Vandana Dhupar welcomed the delegates to foster negotiation, speaking, debating, teamwork and leadership. Participants research, draft resolutions, and negotiate to find solutions to these problems, mimicking the procedures of the real UN. DPS Kolar Road, Bhopal, proudly announces the participation of 46 NCC cadets (18 from the Junior Wing and 28 from the Junior Division) in the 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) held from 11th to 20th June 2025. During the camp, cadets focused on physical fitness through a daily 5:00 A.M. wake-up call followed by PT sessions, marching drills, theory classes, and various sports activities. They also received training in drone movement basics and fire safety and participated in multiple cultural programs. Throughout the 10 days, cadets actively participated in the following competitions: Shooting Marching Volleyball Tug of War We are proud to share the achievements of our cadets: Jatin Poonia (JD) and Khushi Agrawal (JW) were awarded Best Cadet titles among 320 JD and 164 JW cadets, respectively. The Girls' Group Dance Team of our school, comprising all Junior Wing cadet of our school, secured 1st position in the group Dance competition. Ishita Agnihotri won 3rd position in the Drawing Competition. Arna Vyas received a prize for her role as the Mic Coordinator. Peer Interaction “Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” — Robert Collier DPS KOLAR organized INNER CIRCLE: A DIALOGUE , By student , for student , an interactive session for Effective Board Exam Preparation. It was conducted by the school topper Class X session 2024-25, AARUSH SHRIVASTAVA and ARYAN NEMA, to facilitate a peer-led discussion with Class 10 students, aimed at sharing effective strategies for board exam preparation and fostering a collaborative academic environment. Key Insights: 1. Time Management: Students emphasized the importance of creating structured study schedules and adhering to them consistently. 2. Collaborative Learning: Study groups were recognized as effective platforms for discussing difficult concepts and exchanging resources. 3. DPS Kolar Road Reopens with Renewed Zeal and Enthusiasm. Delhi Public School, Kolar Road, Bhopal marked the reopening of the school after the summer vacation on 16th June 2025 with a vibrant and inspiring theme of Assembly" Pause to Purpose ". The assembly began with a soulful prayer led by Madam Principal to seek divine blessings. A graceful dance performance and the melodious rendition of Saraswati Vandana added charm and serenity to the morning atmosphere. Madam Principal, Mrs. Vandana Dhupar, addressed the students and staff, expressing her delight at the enthusiastic return of the school community. On June 13th, Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra hosted a successful Team Bonding workshop, bringing together teachers from Gurudev Shiksha Kendra and Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra. The event facilitated valuable experience sharing and collaboration, yielding outstanding results and fostering a spirit of teamwork." A small get-together of the teachers of Gurudev Shiksha Kendra and Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra was organized at Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra Kolar. In which all the teachers shared their experiences with each other. All the teachers did yoga in this. Along with this, they shared their experiences through conversation for the bright future of the children. In this, the Dean of all the education centers, Mrs. Megha Muktibodh Madam guided everyone with motivational words. Principal of DPS Kolar, Mrs. Vandana Dhupar was also present in this program. Coordinator of Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra, Mrs. Aparna Chanodia addressed everyone with her precious words.
Delhi Public School Kolar Road Bhopal continuously strives to promote love for environment. With the view of cultivating curiosity and connection in the Dipsites, the school has identified a productive patch of land for developing a botanical garden. It was an important step to invite renowned Farmer & Poet, the Padmashri Recipient Mr. Babulal Dahiya who not only initiated the first step into developing the aforesaid garden. He laid the foundation by planting of sapling today i.e. 22nd May, 2025. He was accompanied by noted Philanthropist & Social Worker, Mr. Sharad Kumar Kumre. The Vice Principal welcomed them and has taken guidance to develop this prestigious project.

"Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world." Delhi Public School Kolar Road organised the Inter House Social Advertisement Competition bringing together enthusiastic students from classes VI to VIII. The event was a celebration of creativity and social awareness, where young minds used their voices and talents to spotlight important social issues. Students addressed powerful themes such as Girl Child Education, Child Rights, Saving the Environment, and Saying No to Addiction, delivering impactful messages through short films, skits, posters, and jingles. Their original presentations left both the audience and the judges deeply impressed. The results of the competition are as follows: First Position – Palash House Second Position – Gulmohar House Third Position – Amaltas House Fourth Position – Kachnar House The competition encouraged students to view society and its challenges from a fresh perspective, fostering empathy and awareness. On 28th April 2025, the Science Department of DPS Kolar organized an inspiring Inter-House Competition – ‘Genius in Me’ for the enthusiastic students of Class III. The event aimed to spark curiosity, nurture scientific temper, and foster awareness of the wonders of science among young learners. In a vibrant and engaging atmosphere, the young scientists of Class III confidently stepped into the shoes of real-life researchers. From venturing into the mysteries of space to exploring the microscopic world of cells, the students showcased their discoveries with passion, clarity, and remarkable confidence. Martin DPS Kolar Celebrates the Magic of Stories on World Book Day On April 23, 2025, Delhi Public School, Kolar came alive with literary energy as students and staff celebrated World Book Day through a series of vibrant, creative, and thought-provoking activities. Organized by the Department of Library under the guidance of Ms. Sapna Das, the school librarian, the celebration aimed to nurture a deep and lasting love for reading among students of all age groups. The highlight of the day was the Character Dress-Up and Role Play for Classes III and IV, where young students brought their favorite literary characters and renowned authors to life with expressive costumes and engaging performances. The event began with a cheerful Book Parade, turning school corridors into a vivid world of imagination. To spark creativity and critical thinking, students were also encouraged to craft alternate endings to classic tales, giving familiar stories a fresh twist. The literary celebration extended to Classes V to VIII as well. Class V students showcased their creativity by designing unique and artistic bookmarks. Class VI students reimagined the covers of their favorite books in a Book Cover or Jacket Designing activity. Class VII explored the emotional and intellectual impact of literature by writing reflective paragraphs on the theme “Literature Influences People's Thoughts and Emotions.” Class VIII students examined the role of storytelling in promoting global responsibility by writing on the topic “Literature Spreads Awareness About the Sustainable Development Goals.” The event was graced by the presence of Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar, who appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and encouraged them to continue participating in such activities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and growth. DPS Kolar proudly celebrated the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar—India’s chief architect of the Constitution and a champion of social justice on 15th April 2025. The program commenced with a warm welcome, the National Anthem, lamp lighting, and a special prayer for equality and peace. Anchored around the theme “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar – The Architect of Equality,” the event featured a powerful skit by Class 6 students showcasing Babasaheb’s inspiring journey, along with a vibrant Baisakhi dance performance celebrating unity and cultural heritage. Students also shared inspiring scriptures, the thought of the day, the mentor's speech, and actively participated in a fun quiz to honor Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy. Madam Principal, Ms. Vandana Dhupar, addressed the gathering with an insightful speech, highlighting the relevance of Dr. Ambedkar’s vision in today’s times.
