Capacity Building Programme On Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has been actively organizing workshops and capacity-building programs focused on enhancing teaching methodologies and learning outcomes. DPS KOLAR ORGANISES A WORKSHOP ON CAREER IN INDIAN ARMED FORCES Date: 01 September 2025 Venue: Magnum Opus DPS Kolar organized a Career Guidance Workshop conducted by Scope Defence Academy. This workshop aimed to motivate students to consider a career in the prestigious Indian Armed Forces and serve the nation.The resource person, Retd. Wing Commander, Mr. Manish Mishra guided Dipsites with the aim of equipping them with comprehensive knowledge about the joining INDIAN ARMED FORCES and selection process in entrance examinations for NDA, CDS, AFCAT, SSB,AGNIVEER and others. The workshop primarily focused on guiding students through the written exam, SSB interview, physical fitness tests, and how NCC cadets can leverage their training and certification during the NDA selection process. An open Q&A session allowed students to clear their doubts. Common queries included: • Age limits and eligibility criteria. • How to balance NDA preparation with school academics. • How NCC achievements (medals, camps, ranks) impact selection.
