“Garden as though you will live forever.” Delhi Public School Kolar conducted an engaging "Vegetable Printing" activity for the students of Class II. This creative, hands-on exercise beautifully blended art and nature, aligning with the theme of plants and animals. Through this activity, students explored plant structures while using vegetables as a medium for artistic expression. The experience helped them grasp the relationship between plants and animals within ecosystems, fostering a deeper understanding of environmental connections. In addition to promoting creativity, the activity successfully enhanced students' awareness of nature's intricate balance.

"Time management is Life management." Delhi Public School Kolar conducted a "Clock Making Activity" for the students of Class II to teach the concept of time in a fun, creative way. This hands-on activity helped students understand hours and minutes while reinforcing basic math skills like counting and number recognition. Acting is the element that leads forward, guiding everyone. It is the name of the power that provides leadership to expressions, gestures, speech, thoughts, etc., and motivates them to move ahead from their original place. To introduce students to this concept and enhance their knowledge, the Hindi-Sanskrit department of Delhi Public School, Kolar Road, Bhopal, organized an inter-house Sanskrit solo acting competition for the students of classes 4 and 5 on Thursday, 10th October 2024. The students participated enthusiastically and gave captivating performances. In this competition, from class 4, Raghav Tripathi (Amaltas House) secured the first position, Vivaan Chaturvedi (Palash House) the second position, and Vihana Patel (Gulmohar House) the third position. From class 5, Saanvi Pandey (Gulmohar House) secured the first position, Arjun Chaurasia (Palash House) the second position, and Advik Kulhade (Amaltas House) and Mihika Tiwari (Kachnar House) shared the third position. House-wise, Amaltas House secured the first position, Palash House the second, and Gulmohar House the third position. The school Headmistress, Mrs. Sargam Behl, congratulated all the students for their performances and wished them a bright future. The Head of the Sanskrit Department, Mrs. Aparna Chanodiya, expressed her gratitude while explaining the importance of the Sanskrit language to the students.

Sagacity Mental Health Seminar was held in DPS Kolar on 8th October in line with World Mental Health Day, to help students understand how to deal with the effects of evaluative stress, and Mood dysregulation due to Social media. The experts Ms. Shaily Acharya- Chief Sub Editor DB Digital, Mr. Raghu Pandey- Founder iMature, and Ms. Sonam Chatwani- Founder Aatman Rehabilitation center; shared their expertise with the students on the aforementioned topics, and gave the students valuable knowledge regarding how once can deal with such issues of adolescent life. #DPSKolar #SagacityMentalHealthSeminar

Delhi Public School Kolar Road organized special assembly – Harshotsav on 10th October’24 highlighting the importance of Dussehra. The event was graced by the special guest, Mr. Nitin Ambaselkar and the parents of class III. The spectacular celebration showcased the essence of the festival – good always triumphs.The assembly commenced with a special prayer and welcome address given by Madam Headmistress, Ms. Sargam Bahal followed by the spectacular dance drama put up by the students of class III which was based on the episodes of Ramayana. The celebration also included competitions for the parents and garba dance . Madam Principal, Mrs. Vandana Dhupar, extended warm wishes on the occasion of Dussehra and emphasized the importance of values such as integrity, patience, and honesty.The program culminated by exuberant effigy burning.

Grand Conclusion of the Sixth Chapter of Model United Nations at Delhi Public School, Kolar Road Bhopal October 6, 2024 The three-day chapter of the Model United Nations (MUN) at Delhi Public School, Kolar Road, Bhopal concluded with an impressive closing ceremony on October 6, 2024. The event brought together, students from schools across Bhopal, Indore, and Assam, who actively participated in discussions on significant global and national issues, showcasing their diplomatic skills and leadership qualities. DPS Kolar MUN that was held between October 4 to 6, provided a platform for the young minds to debate on critical issues through various prestigious committees which includes five Indian and Nine International committees. The delegates worked on complex issues and proposed peaceful solutions, embodying the true spirit of the United Nations. The event was not only an intellectual pursuit but also featured a lively cultural evening, where the students celebrated the success of the event with great enthusiasm. The school’s Principal, Mrs. Vandana Dhupar expressed her appreciation for the participants, for their reasoning abilities, and collaborative spirit. She congratulated the Secretary General Navya Parwani and Director General Vanshika Rajput for organizing and executing the event with great success. The students of Shiksha Kendra reach another summit by participating in DPS MUN in AlPPM on 6th of October 2024. The session ended with a lot of hardship in promoting sports and physical education in schools. Children participated with great enthusiasm . Chair was Mahima Singh and vice chair was Gohana khilrani. Students participated as parliamentarian while learning the skills of public speaking, coordination and teamwork. They discussed about the youth and in spectacular zero hour they discuss on the issues about our country to become better leader for future and become a better civilian.

Annual Award Ceremony "Zenith -Achieving New Levels of Excellence” DPS Kolar Road, Bhopal, hosted its grand Annual Award Ceremony –“Zenith -Achieving New Levels of Excellence” with great enthusiasm on 5th October 2024. This prestigious event honored the remarkable achievements of 350 students, who were recognized with awards for their outstanding performance in both academic and co-curricular fields. The ceremony was graced by chief guest Shree Rameshwar Sharma (MLA, Huzur), Smt. Babita Dongre (Parshad Ward No. 81), Shri Nitin Ambaselkar, President (Finance & Accounts), Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, and CAO of DPS-Bhopal, Indore, Kolar Road & Rau, Dr. Dharm Verma Sir, Director School Academic Development Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal. Their presence added grandeur to the occasion, which was further enriched by the involvement of proud parents, eager to witness their children’s moment of glory. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Principal Ms. Vandana Dhupar delivered the welcome address, extending her heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished guests and the school community. She praised the tireless efforts of the students, encouraging them to continue raising the bar for themselves while striving for excellence in all future endeavors. The first round of awards acknowledged academic brilliance and overall proficiency with honors such as the Academic Excellence Award, Shri Hari Mohan Gupta Sports Scholarship, Shri Somwati Devi Gupta Scholarship, Best Sportsperson awards and Proficiency Awards. The second and third rounds celebrated student achievements with the prestigious Blue Blazer, Scholar Trophy, Maroon Blazer, Regularity, Marker Cup and various co-curricular awards, including the Outstanding CCA Prize. The highlights of the event were was a captivating musical and dance performances by the students, that mesmerized the audience and left them with a lasting sense of awe and appreciation. Delhi Public School Kolar Road Bhopal in its efforts to help the students to understand the basics of United Nations, organized MUN Chapter 6 on 4th Oct ( day-1),5th Oct ( day-2) & 6th Oct 2024 ( day-3). The purpose to conduct MUN is to transform experience shaping the next generation into global citizens and make them competitive in the world. The day 1 and day 2 of DPS Kolar MUN- chapter 6 witnessed enthusiastic committee sessions, exuberant celebrations and fun filled committee sessions with over 400 delegates participating in DPS Kolar MUN including delegates from Assam and Indore. The first day of the conference started with the registration of the students.The main attraction of the day were the enriching debating sessions where the delegates learnt debating and putting their points across. The second day witnessed rigorous committee sessions and intensely debating. Mr. Dharam Verma, Director (School Academic Development) Jagran Social Welfare Society graced the event with his benign presence. Madam Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar visited the committee sessions and appreciated the children for their efforts.

"We won't have a society if we destroy the environment." – Margaret Mead" DPS Kolar Excels in Inter-School Debate Competition Students of DPS Kolar showcased their debating skills in the Inter-School Debate competition organized by Van Vihar National Park and Zoo on 3 October . The topic of the debate, held during State Wildlife Week, was "Conservation of endangered species should be given more priority than economic development". Nishtha Agarwal emerged as the winner of the debate, speaking against the motion, while Srishti Negi, the runner-up, spoke in favour of the motion. Every year on 14th September, we celebrate Hindi Diwas to emphasize its importance and promote it across generations.
