The Republic Day Celebration 2025

Delhi Public School, Kolar Road, Bhopal, celebrated the 76^th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The school premises resonated with the spirit of nationalism as students and teachers gathered to honour the nation and its democratic values.

The celebration commenced in the presence of esteemed dignitaries Shri Hari Mohan Gupta Founder & Chairman, Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal Founder & Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal Founder & Pro-Vice Chairman, DPS Bhopal-Indore, Kolar Road & Rau Indore, Founder, Gurudev Gupta Shiksha Kendra & Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra and Dr. Dharam Verma Director School Academic Development, Jagran Socila Welfare Society Bhopal.

The unfurling of the Tricolor was accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride and unity. The event with the theme – “संविधान एक संकल्प” “Upholding the Spirit of Democracy” featured a series of vibrant cultural performances by students, including a patriotic dance, a skit showcasing the significance of the Constitution, a melodious choir rendition of patriotic song and Pyramid formation drill by Scout and guide cadets.

Shri Hari Mohan Gupta Sir in his address highlighted the significance of the day and threw light on the contribution of India towards the progress of the world. Dr. Dharam Verma congratulated the students and teachers for presenting the theme so well. Madam Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar reminded students of their responsibilities as the future citizens of the nation.

The event included the felicitation of IV class employees and also the students and teachers for giving maximum contribution towards Helpage India.

The Overall House Trophy was awarded to Amaltas House for their exceptional performance throughout the year.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the distribution of sweets, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and inspiration.

Independence Day Celebration 2024

Bhopal, Delhi Public School, Kolar Road, celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic zeal. The theme of the celebration was “Jashn-e-Azaadi” (जश्न-ए-आज़ादी), commemorating the country’s hard-won freedom.

The day began with the flag hoisting ceremony and the national anthem, followed by a welcome address by Vice Principal, Madam Anuradha Telang. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Telang said, “Today, we celebrate the bravery and sacrifices of our freedom fighters who fought for our nation’s independence. We are proud to be Indians and must strive to uphold the values of freedom, equality, and justice.”

A series of events followed, including a soulful song performance, an inter-house solo and group dance competition, a poignant poem recitation by students of Shiksha Kendra, and a storytelling session on freedom fighters titled “Kissa Goi”. The students who brought laurels to the school in various inter-school competitions were felicitated. The Chief Guest, Shri Nitin Ambaselker, President (Finance & Accounts), Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, CAO, DPS-Bhopal, Indore, Kolar Road & Rau shared “Pearls of Wisdom” with the audience. The event concluded with a vote of thanks.

The celebration was attended by students, teachers, and staff, who came together to pay tribute to the nation’s heroes.

The Republic Day Celebration 2024

‘Samarthya-From Struggle to Strength”

DPS Kolar celebrated the 75th Republic Day of India on 26th January 2024 with pride and jubilation.

Madam Principal Mrs Vandana Dhupar escorted the Chief Guest for the program Shri Abhishek Mohan Gupta Ji.

A flurry of activities ignited national pride and patriotism in the students.

The engrossing theme and the patriotic musical presentation enthralled the audience.

Students of Gurudev Gupta Shiksha Kendra presented a Kavi Sammelan which added a touch of literary brilliance to the day.

The celebrations culminated in a felicitation ceremony where students for Helpage India, teachers for AI Olympiad and IV class Employees were felicitated for their outstanding achievements in various fields.

The most exciting moment of the day was Kachnar House winning the Best Inter-House Trophy. The patriotic extravaganza culminated with expression of gratitude by Chitransh Agrawal, Palash House Vice Captain.

Independence Day Celebration 2023

DPS Kolar celebrated Independence Day with patriotism on 15th August 2023. The celebration began with the hoisting of the tricolor Indian flag by Madam Principal Mrs.Vandana Dhupar, followed by the singing of the National Anthem with heartfelt fervor. The theme for the day was – Swarnim Bharat-Freedom for all. Students showcased their vision through captivating dance and song performances. The performances not only entertained the audience but also instilled a sense of pride and unity.

Inter House Group Song Competition (Classes VI to VIII) and Solo Song cum Instrumental Competition(Classes IX and XI)was organized by the Music Department. Judges for the competition were Ms. Deepali Verma, retired music teacher, Kendra Vidyalaya Bhopal, and Mr. Ankit Devaria, Music Director, Traffic Jam Studios. The winning trophy was awarded to Palash House for both competitions.

On this auspicious occasion, the Science Olympiad Foundation felicitated Mrs. Vandana Dhupar, Principal DPS Kolar Road Bhopal with the ‘Best District Principal Award 2022-23 in acknowledgment of her vision, leadership qualities, and academic initiatives on account of which the students of the school exhibited outstanding performance. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of those who fought for India’s independence and encouraged students to uphold the values of unity, diversity, and democracy. She also shared interesting facts related to success of Swarnim Bharat. She praised the efforts of teachers and students in organizing a memorable celebration that captured the essence of the nation’s spirit.

School Vice Principal Mrs. Anuradha Telang and Headmistress Mrs. Sargam Bahal extended their greetings to everyone on this auspicious occasion. The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by the House Captain of Palash House.

The Republic Day Celebration 2023

‘Never let us forget, never let us be shy, let’s make the flag of the nation fly very high’.

The 74th Republic day and the festival of Basant Panchmi was celebrated with grandeur at DPS Kolar on 26th January 2023. The day began with the hoisting of the national flag by the school Principal Mrs.Vandana Dhupar and other dignitaries, followed by National Anthem. A special prayer for the betterment and development of the country was conducted.

The cultural programme on the theme -‘Resplendent Republic-Basant ki Purwai’ was organized, which included theme talk, Patriotic Musical presentation, Hindi poem and English skit. Different dance performances were presented by the students on the occasion of Basant Panchmi. The Principal awarded the Winning Trophy to Gulmohar House which stood first in literary, cultural, sports and fine arts activities in session 2022-23. The winners of Inter School Band Competition were also awarded prizes and certificates.

Certificates were also awarded to the students who showed their generosity in accomplishment of the mission Helpage India. Drivers, who have shown exceptional dedication towards their profession were also given prizes. The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by member of Student Council- Khushi Pachori. Madam Principal, Madam Vice Principal and Madam Headmistress extended their wishes and blessings to the students and their families on this auspicious day.

Independence Day Celebration 2022

Today we celebrate the land of the free and the home of the Brave .

Delhi Public School, Kolar Road celebrated the 75th Independence Day celebration with patriotic fervor on 15th August 2022.

The theme of the programme was India – Vibrant, Strong And Supreme. The chief guest Mr. Abhishek Mohan Gupta Vice Chairman, Executive Committee & Joint Secretary Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal Pro-Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University Bhopal, Managing Committee Member, DPS -Bhopal- Indore, Kolar Road & Rau Indore Sir unfurled the tricolour followed by the National Anthem.

A special prayer, and theme talk conveyed significance of the Day. Delhi Public School and Somwati Shiksha Kendra students jointly presented a hindi skit ( Badal denge bharat) .

It conveyed a strong message on corruption, girl education and clean India. The importance of freedom and its true value can be understood by knowing how hard it was to get and how it needed the valour and sacrifice of many of our national heroes. Fervour of Independence – Dance presentation was a beautiful tribute to brave soldiers. The enthusiastic performances received much-deserved appreciation from everyone present. Inter House Song Competition – Solo & Group based on themes of mother and valour were the stellar performances of the day. Amaltas House was the adjudged winner in Solo & Group Song competition.

The Vice Principal M.s Anuradha Telang in her speech exhorted the students to follow the path of righteousness and work diligently to bring laurels to the country. She opined that the country today that holds in its memory and legacy the power and the responsibility that comes with freedom, the life force of democracy. The day culminated with a vote of thanks. It was indeed a proud moment to watch.
