Annual Award Ceremony 2023-24
“Zenith -Achieving New Levels of Excellence”
DPS Kolar Road, Bhopal, hosted its grand Annual Award Ceremony –“Zenith -Achieving New Levels of Excellence” with great enthusiasm on 5th October 2024. This prestigious event honored the remarkable achievements of 350 students, who were recognized with awards for their outstanding performance in both academic and co-curricular fields.
The ceremony was graced by chief guest Shree Rameshwar Sharma (MLA, Huzur), Smt. Babita Dongre (Parshad Ward No. 81), Shri Nitin Ambaselkar, President (Finance & Accounts), Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, and CAO of DPS-Bhopal, Indore, Kolar Road & Rau, Dr. Dharm Verma Sir, Director School Academic Development Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal. Their presence added grandeur to the occasion, which was further enriched by the involvement of proud parents, eager to witness their children’s moment of glory.
The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Principal Ms. Vandana Dhupar delivered the welcome address, extending her heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished guests and the school community. She praised the tireless efforts of the students, encouraging them to continue raising the bar for themselves while striving for excellence in all future endeavors.
The first round of awards acknowledged academic brilliance and overall proficiency with honors such as the Academic Excellence Award, Shri Hari Mohan Gupta Sports Scholarship, Shri Somwati Devi Gupta Scholarship, Best Sportsperson awards and Proficiency Awards. The second and third rounds celebrated student achievements with the prestigious Blue Blazer, Scholar Trophy, Maroon Blazer, Regularity, Marker Cup and various co-curricular awards, including the Outstanding CCA Prize.
The highlights of the event were was a captivating musical and dance performances by the students, that mesmerized the audience and left them with a lasting sense of awe and appreciation. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shreya Achrya, Captain of Palash House, marking the end of a day filled with pride, inspiration, and motivation for the entire DPS community.
Annual Award Ceremony 2022-23
“SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ARE NOT GIFTED, THEY JUST WORK HARD, THEN SUCCEED ON PURPOSE”
Delhi Public School, kolar Road Bhopal organised its annual award ceremony and honoured the achievers of academic session 2022-23 in ‘Zenith, the galaxy of high achievers on Saturday 28th October 2023 . Professor Ashutosh kumar Singh,the founder director of IIIT Bhopal and other dignitaries graced the occasion with their benign presence. The occasion was made special with the presence of Shri Abhishek Mohan Guptaji Sir Vice Chairman, Executive Committee & Joint Secretary Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal ,Pro-Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal ,Managing Committee Member,DPS-Bhopal-Indore, Kolar Road & Rau Indore . The school Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar emphasized that awards are a way to encourage good behaviour in students.
The first set of awards included : Academic Excellence , Smt. Somavati Devi , Best Sports Person , Proficiency Cup ,Marker Cup , Star Badges,Star Tie . Followed by it was a well executed dance performance which the students had mastered it with their movements.
The next set of awards included for Continuous Excellence and Outstanding CCA under which Blue Blazers, Maroon Blazers, Scholar Trophies were presented.
The dignitaries congratulated the awardees and encouraged them to pursue their goals and make a difference in life. The ceremony was held amidst joy, cheer and applause.
Annual Award Ceremony 2019-20
The ceremony commenced with a prayer dance invoking the blessings of God Almighty. Awards were conferred to the students under multifarious categories. The first set of awards included the following: Shri Gurudev Gupta Scholarship for All Rounders, Shri Hari Mohan Gupta Scholarship for Academic Excellence, Smt Somvati Devi Gupta Scholarship for Sports, Best Sports Person, Proficiency Cup, Marker Cup followed by it was a mellifluous musical presentation which mesmerized the audience.
The next set of awards was given for Continuous Excellence & Outstanding CCA & CCA Sports under which 32 Blue Blazers, 7 Maroon Blazers, 11 Scholar Trophies were given.
Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar was also felicitated by the Chief Guest in acknowledgement of her leadership and initiative in organising competitive exams and performance excellence of her students in SOF Olympiads conducted during the year 2021-22.
Shri Abhishek Mohan Gupta Sir lauded the students for their exemplary achievements and also hailed the teachers for their relentless effort in inculcating a competitive spirit in students. The Chief Guest congratulated the students for their stupendous accomplishments and acknowledged the efforts of the school in the multifaceted growth of its students. A congratulatory song `Acclamation` was presented to celebrate the success of the school and its students.
The function concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Garima Methwani, the Head Girl of the school.
