DPS Kolar celebrated a grand and solemn Graduation Ceremony “Transcendence” for the outgoing class XII batch on the 21st of January 2023. The celebration started with an academic procession led by the honourable Chief Guest Col K P Singh (Retd) Army Air Defence, Shri Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Pro-Chancellor, JLU, and other dignitaries along with NCC students and school band. The dignitaries adorned the dais and after the customary welcome dance and lighting the lamp, the School Principal Ms. Vandan Dhupar welcomed all the dignitaries. The Vice-Principal Ms. Anuradha Telang felicitated the guests with bouquets and mementos.
In a message from Pro-Vice Chairman, Shri Hari Mohan Gupta asserted that DPS provides a comprehensive education to its students. It believes education is the most powerful tool to combat the current global situation. The students of DPS Kolar can handle any challenge of this competitive world. The Chief Guest congratulated the students and told them about the importance of being a good citizen. He was elated that DPS maintains high standards in education and aids in moulding young minds for the betterment of society and themselves.
The highlight of the evening was the ceremonial lighting of the school logo with diyas, by students accompanied by their parents. The school band mesmerized and enthralled the audience with their musical symphony. The school choir sang the school anthem, and several motivational songs of blessing, related to the occasion. The school campus was a scene of festivities, happy faces, and emotional moments with group photos, selfies, and celebrations. The students felt vivacious after getting graduation robes, hats, and certificates. They expressed their thankfulness, ‘Reflections’ towards their school. Parents were full of gratitude to the teachers and management for shaping their children into confident individuals. The program ended with a vote of thanks proposed by the Head Girl Garima Methwani.
