Inter School Tech Fest “Headway’s Extra Quadrata V2.0”

“Technology is not just a tool. It can give learners a voice that they may not have had before.”

Delhi Public School Kolar Road Bhopal organized an Inter School Tech Fest ‘Headway’s Extra Quadrata V2.0’ on December 5, 2023. The Tech Fest had many events namely, Site Incroyable, Esprit Decode, Filmskaping, Scio, Esthetique Art, Technovate and Parabellum. Twelve schools participated in online events and ten schools participated in offline events. The Scio quiz turned out to be extremely popular among the students. The other events, like Site Incroyable and Esprit Decode, made the students turn the gears of their minds to give the best result. The process of reaching to the conclusions were phenomenal and well-appreciated by the students. The various competitions in the fest tested various technical skills like data structures, algorithms, python or the javascript programming language, video and sound editing, cinematography, general awareness related to IT, web designing, gaming, automation and artificial intelligence.

DPS Kolar was the host school, they did not participate in any event. Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar emerged as the Overall Winners and were awarded the ‘Victor Ludorum’ trophy.

There was an invigorating and enthusiastic participation by all the teams.

The Principal, Mrs. Vandana Dhupar appreciated the members of the Organizing Committee and the Department of Computer Sc. for the flawless completion of the event and congratulated the winners.

Diwali and Children’s Day Celebration

Delhi Public School Kolar Road celebrated Diwali and Children’s Day assembly in full swing and enthusiasm on 9.11.23 in the front lawn of the school campus. It is rightly said; “No matter how gloomy the world turns out to be – A festival always brings hope”.

Diwali represents new beginnings and the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, the triumph of righteousness, and knowledge in place of ignorance. To celebrate this festival along with the arrival of Children’s Day the students of Gulmohar House along with class VI Team organized an assembly to rejoice the rays of hopes, kindness, and happiness.

Resplendent in their costumes and glowing in all their finery, the students performed stupendously well on the stage. The teachers from the Music and Dance department presented a performance based on their musical journey. A Ramp walk and vivid dance performances were presented by the teachers of classes VI-VIII segment. Overall, the assembly concluded with great zeal, fervor, and enthusiasm.

Madam Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar, Madam Vice Principal Mrs. Anuradha Telang, Madam Head Mistress Mrs. Sargam Bahal congratulated all the students and the teachers for presenting a wonderful assembly.

Delhi Public School Celebrated National Unity Day

“A nation becomes invincible when its people are united”.

Delhi Public School Kolar Road, Bhopal celebrated National Unity Day on 31st October 2023.  A special assembly was organised by the students to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of the Iron Man of  India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The assembly began with a special prayer followed by the scripture and thought of the day explaining the importance of National Unity Day. The theme talk by the students on the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” which served as a reminder that, irrespective of our diverse backgrounds, we are part of a single global family.

Choir group performed a melodious song performance which promoted unity, encouraging people to transcend geographical and cultural divisions was enjoyed by everyone. To re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation the students presented a musical performance showcasing the unification of different castes, religions, cultures and languages.

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge was taken by all the students to uphold the unity and integrity of the Nation. Madam Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar congratulated the students and gave the message “Together we can and we will”. The significant programme evoked the spirit of “Unity” amongst all.

Harshotsav – Dussehra Celebration 

On Friday, 20th October 2023, the students of Delhi Public School Kolar Road, celebrated Dussehra with gaiety, in the form of ‘ Harshotsav’, conveying the message of victory of good over evil. The students presented Ramayan in the form of a Dance drama, in the special assembly. The audience was mesmerized with the melodious singing, realistic acting and skilful presentation of dialogues by the students. There was a zealous participation by the parents in the Kalash Decoration and Dance competition. A quiz on Ramayan was also conducted for the parents. The audience enjoyed the various informative activities with full enthusiasm. Madam Principal, Mrs. Vandana Dhupar emphasised that the virtues, ethics, honesty and patience should be maintained by the students in the toughest situations.Madam Headmistress, Mrs. Sargam Bahal addressed the parents and insisted that they should spend some time with their children discussing the important aspects of Indian culture and help them imbibe the core values. The programme culminated with the effigy burning of Ravan .

WOW – The Language Medley

Delhi Public School, Kolar Road Bhopal organised WOW (Writing and Oration Made Wonderful), the language Medley on Thursday, 5 October 2023 under which several Inter School Competitions of French, English, Hindi and Sanskrit were conducted.  The event was a part of the year round Decadal Celebration of DPS Kolar Road.

The event was organised to inculcate proclivity for various languages and reading in students. Many schools from Bhopal and Indore participated in the literary festival. Different competitions were held that gave a creative platform to the students to explore their talent and give wings to their imagination.

The welcome ceremony commenced with traditional lamp lighting ceremony by seeking the blessings of Maa Saraswati, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Madam Principal Mrs Vandana Dhupar. Madam Principal welcomed the judges and released balloons to mark the opening ceremony.

The competitions of the event were Exemplar, Character Rumble, Puzzle Wiz Poets, Radio Play etc in English language.  The French language competitions included Lyrisme and Une Histoire.  Hindi language competitions were Swaranjali, Srajnatmak Kavyan Chitran, Vigyapan Ki Duniya, Chitra Se Katha Tak and Sanskrit language events included Gyan Manjari and Ekal Natya Abhinaya.

All the participants of different literary events cast a spell with their performance and oration skills. The Principal, the esteemed judges of the competitions appreciated and applauded the effort of the students and the teachers and spoke of the need to develop an interest in languages. The overall trophy and cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- was bagged by DPS Bhopal. DPS Kolar Road school bagged Runners Up Trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 3,000/-.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Devjeet Singh Dogra Head Boy of the middle school.  This event was well organised and appreciated by all.

Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shashtri ji’s Jayanti

“Be the change you wish to see in the world”.

Keeping this important quote in mind students of class VIII Delhi Public School Kolar Road, Bhopal celebrated Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shashtri ji’s Jayanti on 3rd October with true spirit of patriotism and respect. It commenced with the uplifting rendition of the National Anthem, filling the air with a sense of unity and pride. Madam Headmistress led a special prayer, infusing the atmosphere with serenity and setting a positive tone.
The Lighting of the Lamp ceremony symbolized the spread of knowledge and wisdom, while the scriptures shared during the event reminded everyone of the profound teachings of
Mahatma Gandhi. A Thought of the Day encouraged deep reflection, followed by an engaging Theme Talk that shed light on the life and principles of Gandhiji.
The skit on Gandhi’s inspiring journey captivated the audience, leaving a lasting impression and inspiring everyone to follow in his footsteps. A quiz added an element of friendly competition and tested the students’ knowledge about Gandhian ideals.
The Scholar Badge awards recognized the academic achievements of deserving students, and Madam Principal delivered a heartfelt speech, emphasizing the relevance of Gandhian values

The assembly concluded with a warm vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the participants and attendees for making the event a grand success. It was a truly memorable occasion that honored the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and left a positive impact on everyone present.

AFS Global STEM Accelerators Program

The AFS Global STEM Accelerators is a full-scholarship, online intercultural exchange program for young women (age 15-17) interested in STEM and sustainability worldwide. From more than 1,000 highly qualified applications sent from all over the world, only 180 students were selected globally for a full scholarship in this program. We are happy to share that our student Srishti Negi of class X received a scholarship and attended the 12-week digital program, engaging in content on global competence skills, and sustainability-driven workshops, with content co-developed by AFS and the prestigious and renowned University of Pennsylvania.

Srishti has earned the Advanced Certificate and feedback from the University of Pennsylvania Center for Social Impact Strategy validation committee on her capstone project work as follows:

“Nice work on your Capstone presentation! Great articulation of the problem statement and use of the public narrative. Good job developing your water bottle prototype. This has the potential to significantly reduce the reliance on plastic. Wishing you luck as you work to reduce the use of plastic in your community.”

She also received a digital badge from Credly for her achievement. We are proud of you Dipsite!!

Pratibha Samman Yojana (Talent Recognition Scheme) organized under the ages of NITI Aayog, the United Nations, and the Ministry of Sports for the year 2022-23

Delhi Public School, Kolar Road proudly waved their flag once again in Pratibha Samman Yojana (Talent Recognition Scheme) organized under the ages of NITI Aayog, the United Nations, and the Ministry of Sports for the year 2022-23. Total number of students participated at district level were 1760 .

Dhairy Garg was awarded with Rs 1 Lakh for his unmatched performance in PSY state level programme and has also qualified for National level competition.

Advita Muchrikar, Ishita Nayak, Lavanya Hedau, Saharsh Rajak, Anushka Verma, Anushree Jain were awarded for securing District level position in the Painting competition. Ashrudeep Maharana, Ananya Kulkarni, Shreeti Jain, Harshika Saxsena, Aadity Pani and Sanskriti Chouhan were awarded for securing District level position in the written exam .

The school principal, Mrs. Vandana Dhupar, was also honoured with a commendation certificate during the program, motivating students. Dr. Aradhana Varma, the supervising teacher, received an appreciation certificate and is the first woman in MP state to receive such a prestigious award . Ms. Shweta Gupta was awarded with an appreciation certificate. These opportunities will undoubtedly serve as a guiding light for students in their bright future paths.

Comm Fluence – Beyond All Limits

The Department of Commerce, DPS Kolar organized an Inter School Event – COMM FLUENCE – Beyond All Limits on Saturday, 19th August 2023 at DPS Kolar Campus. In order to meet the challenging needs of the corporate world environment, it is not just sufficient for a student of commerce to be sound theoretically but must also be exposed to the outer world in a dynamic way to face practical situations. This event enriched and empowered the students with academic and technical excellence. The event had two competitions events:  Hidden Persuaders -Hits With Wit -An Ad making show and Vriti –The Corporate Walk & Talk -Ramp Walk Show.

The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The event was graced by the benign presence of Madam Principal Ms. Vandana Dhupar. Madam Principal congratulated all the participating schools to honour the occasion by their participation. “Commerce creates job opportunities in various sectors such as banking, insurance, retail, transportation, and logistics, among others. The growth of the commerce sector leads to an increase in demand for skilled professionals, thereby creating employment opportunities and reducing unemployment, “said Principal.

The panel of judges included Dr. Vivek Khare and Ms. Priyanka Nema.

The winner of the competition was Delhi Public School Indore and won Cash Prize of RS.5000/. The runner up was Sagar Public School Katar Extension and won Cash Prize of Rs.3000/-.

“Commerce, on a fundamental level, helps people satisfy wants and needs. It is a key factor in aiding the development of nation,” said the chief guest, Dr. Vivek Khare in his address.

Science Exhibition at DPS Kolar

Delhi Public School Kolar,organised its Annual Science Exhibition “Sci Aurora…. The Horizon of Exploration” on 19th August 2023 at its premises for the students of classes V- XI. The prime objective of this exhibition was to give ample scope to students to keep their curiosity and scientific temperament alive.

The exhibition witnessed much fanfare with young science enthusiasts showcasing their exhibits. There were many working models and exhibits. The main attraction were Working model of human eye, heart and dialysis, Double DNA helical model, Earthquake detector, Chandrayan 3, Rocket Propulsion, Solar panel, Smoke fountain, Chemical Chameleon, Golden rain, Abra-ka-Dabra, Aurora Gleams and many more.

Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar extolled the efforts of students and teachers who have worked tirelessly to make this event a grand success and also said that this practical knowledge will certainly help them in future. Head Mistress Mrs. Sargam Bahal highly appreciated the efforts put in by the students and teacher’s of Science Department.

The HOD of Science Mrs. Rekha Sharma and her team was instrumental in organizing this exhibition.

The participants left with a dream that the hues of science would help them have a better understanding of the innovations they could venture into. The experience was enriching for one and all.

Investiture Ceremony – Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra – DPS Kolar

On August 5, 2023, Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra, Delhi Public School Kolar organised the oath-taking ceremony in the school premises. The chief guest for the program Dr. Roopali Richhariya was given a warm welcome by the school band. The students of the school conducted a special prayer. Madam Principal, Mrs. Vandana Dhupar, the chief guest, initiated the program by lighting the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati. Madam Principal and Madam Coordinator Mrs. Aparna Chanodia welcomed the Chief guest with a floral bouquet they also extended a warm welcome to all the guests and parents through their motivational speeches. The students presented a colourful dance performance followed by the presentation of a vibrant performance of songs and music.

The chief guest congratulated and administered the oath to the school’s senior student council members, including Ashish Kushwah and Alpi Malviya, urging them to uphold the dignity of their positions and fulfil their responsibilities with dedication and honesty.

Mr. Nitin Ambaselkar, Chief Accounts Officer of J.S.W.S, addressed the children and emphasized that small efforts propel us forward and small responsibilities prepare us to undertake larger ones. He encouraged them to always be ready to take on responsibilities and develop leadership qualities through opportunities provided by the school. The chief guest praised the students for their selection in the Student Council and wished them success in their future leadership roles. She conveyed that the future of India rests on their soldiers, so they should integrate discipline into their lives and approach every task with patriotism and love for the country.

At the conclusion of the program, the senior students of the school expressed gratitude to the attending guests, parents, and teachers.

Open House Classes I & II

Open Houses are a vital part of school functioning. It is important for parents to meet with the people responsible for their child’s learning needs. The holistic development of a child is dependent on the hard work of students, parents, and teachers. Such teamwork helps the students navigate through the challenges of their studies. Delhi Public School Kolar conducted its first Open House for classes I and II on Saturday, April 29, 2023. It was a great opportunity to expand the communication channel between the teachers and parents and give them a forum to exchange observations on the students. Teachers gave a detailed overview about the performance of the students in academics, their weak areas, and the strategies followed to improve their performance. Parents also shared their feedback on the teaching methods and the overall learning environment of the school. The parents and teachers both agreed that the meeting was productive and provided an excellent platform to discuss the progress of the students.

My Body Gyration Activity

Delhi Public School Kolar conducted ‘My Body Gyration Activity’ for the students of class II where they learned about the various body parts, their locations, and their functions. All the students were very enthusiastic and eager to learn. Everyone was able to complete the activity with minimal guidance and instructions. The activity helped the students get a deeper understanding of the topic. All in all, it was an informative and entertaining activity.

 My senses Class l

Students of Class 1 at Delhi Public School Kolar engaged in a very exciting activity named “My Senses’. In this activity, the children got the opportunity to have hands-on experience about the elementary purpose of each sense organ. All the students were very enthusiastic and eager to learn more about their five senses. The students had a lot of fun exploring their sense organs and learning new things. Overall, the activity was a great success.

Poster Making Competition Class l

Delhi Public School Kolar conducted a Poster-Making competition on the occasion of Earth Day for the students of class I. The competition was a huge success, and the students had a great time expressing their creativity while learning about environmental issues. The competition helped in raising awareness about the importance of protecting our planet and instilling a sense of responsibility in the young minds. The judges for the event were the teachers at the school. They were very impressed with the level of creativity shown by the students. Overall, the poster-making competition was a fun and educational activity that helped promote a sense of environmental responsibility among the students.

Eid Celebration

Eid, the festival that upholds the spirit of love and brotherhood, was celebrated by DPS Castle of Dreams Kolar on Friday, April 21, 2023. The assembly began with a special prayer, followed by thought and a theme talk. Madam Principal, Ms. Vandana Dhupar addressed the assembly and spoke about the importance of Eid and its significance. She highlighted the importance of the occasion and requested that all the students should follow the traditions and customs of the festival. The entire assembly was conducted with great enthusiasm. Moreover, special performances were organised by the students, such as enactment, qawwali, song, and dance, which filled the atmosphere with happiness and love. The assembly concluded with the distribution of sweets among the students. The little ones enjoyed their day with full exhilaration and delight.

Recycled Garden Competition Class 2

” Sustainable living in harmony with nature”.

 Delhi Public School Kolar conducted ‘Recycled Garden’ competition for the students of class 2 on Thursday, 20th April 2023. The competition aims to make the students understand the importance of preserving the environment and, moreover, learn more about sustainability. Students prepared very creative and innovative models and art items from different waste materials. The competition helped students understand the value of the need to reduce, reuse, and recycle. The main objective of the competition was to encourage creativity, artistic ability, concentration, and self-confidence. It was fun-filled and quite joyful to help young minds and creative minds.

Greater Gator Activity Class 1

Building a strong number sense is the foundation of most math applications. Delhi Public School Kolar conducted ‘Greater Gator’ activity for the students of Class 1. The purpose of the activity was to help the students understand the concept of comparing numbers. This was a fun and interactive way to teach the children the concept of comparison of numbers. The students were highly engaged and enthusiastic about the activity. They were able to understand the concept very quickly and were able to solve the questions with ease. Overall, it was a very interactive and informative session for the students.

Abacus Making Activity Class 2

A colourful abacus is a stepping stone to spark curiosity, imagination, and generative innovation. Delhi Public School Kolar conducted an ‘Abacus making’ activity for the students of class II. The students followed the instructions carefully and started making their abacuses. Everyone had their own creative ideas, which made their abacus look even more beautiful. After completing the abacus, the students started counting numbers on it. Everyone was amazed to see how quickly they could count numbers on their own abacus. The activity helped to encourage creativity and artistic ability development among students and developed their numerical aptitude, concentration, self-confidence, logical understanding, and analytical skills. It was fun-filled and quite joyful to help young minds discover, explore, and develop numeracy skills.

Class XI Orientation Programme

“Life presents many choices; the choices we make determine our future.”

An orientation programme for the new batch of class 11 students was organized by DPS Kolar on 5th April, 2023 in the school auditorium. The purpose of the programme was to acquaint the students with the courses and subjects of study along with the curriculum and pedagogy followed. The program was attended by the students and teachers of the school. Madam Vice-Principal Ms Anuradha Telang briefed the students on the rules and regulations of the school, the two year course details of class XI and the opportunities the school offers to groom them in academics and other activities.  School’s support to help the students to face ups and downs of life with calmness of heart and mind. The Academic Co-ordinator, Dr. Alpana Verma explained the significance of selecting appropriate additional subject according to the stream. The two years of senior secondary being the starting point of one’s career she explained the various career choices and the norms of the school. She presented information about the examination and promotion policies of the school.

Welcome Assembly – Bonjour

DPS Castle of Dreams Kolar conducted welcome assembly ‘Bonjour’ on 05th April 2023 to welcome the students for another happy, chirpy and a peppy new session.

The assembly commenced with the prayer followed by scripture and thought for the day, infusing an aura of positivity. A motivational, fun filled skit was performed to teach the students about team work, unity and determination. A mellifluous welcome song and a splendid dance performance was presented by the teachers to encourage the students for the upcoming session. The students enjoyed different acts performed by their teachers that kept them captivated and enthralled throughout the assembly. Children were thrilled watching their teachers on the stage which was clearly visible on their faces.

Academic Coordinator, Ms. Anuragini Shadangule applauded the efforts of teachers in putting up a spectacular assembly. She also wished tiny tots an accomplished and knowledge-filled academic year ahead.

Welcome to a New School Year! 
Special Assembly in DPS Kolar

“We all need to learn and grow, till our good becomes better and our better becomes the best.”

DPS Kolar class XII students conducted a special assembly on 4 April at the commencement of the new academic session. All the students entered the campus for their journey towards joyous learning with bright and cheerful faces. Meeting their friends and having exciting discussions with teachers and school friends added fuel to their energies for a sparkling start. The welcome assembly with the theme ‘Garnering the Winds of Change and Happiness’ was held on the school premises for the students of classes IV to XII. The day began with a special prayer followed by scripture in Sanskrit. A motivational group song was sung by students to mark a new beginning. Thought for the day was followed by the theme talk ‘Pursuit of Perfection’. All the students enjoyed the melodious dance and songs performed by the teachers of the Music department of the school. The students of senior classes exhibited their excitement while playing tug of war with their teachers.

The felicitation of the winners of the various AFS events and Spell Bee Inter School Competitions was performed by Madam Principal, Madam Vice Principal, and Headmistress. School Principal Madam Vandna Dhupar blessed the students and advised them to gear up with focus and set up goals for the new academic year. Vice Principal Madam Anuradha Telang guided the students that a proper plan backed by appropriate action will make their dreams come true. Headmistress Madam Sargam Behal also showered her blessing and encouraged the students to get themselves ready to face the future with proper planning.

Fly high and shine Activity – Class 2

A cheerful ‘welcome” helps children get a positive start to their new academic session. On 1st April 2023, an exciting activity was conducted at DPS Kolar to welcome the students of class II. The activity “Fly high and shine” was a flying machine making activity that allowed students to make their own paper aeroplanes and write their messages and resolutions on the planes, which were ready to take a high flight.

Students participated in the activity with full energy and enthusiasm. The creativity and eagerness of the students were evident as they quickly got to work to create their own flying machines. They were happy. The activity encouraged creative thinking and added excitement to their first day of school. Overall, the activity of making flying machines was a great success. The students had a wonderful time and learned a great deal in the process.

Youth Parliament

Parliament is more than a procedure – It is the custodian of the Nation’s freedom

Delhi Public School, Kolar Road, Bhopal organized ‘Youth Parliament’ on Tuesday 28th March 2023 under the aegis of Pt. Kunjilal Dubey Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidhyapeeth.

The objective of conducting Youth Parliament is to teach children the true meaning of Democracy, equip them with debating skills, and stimulate them to present their own thoughts and listen to those of others. It also teaches them how to advocate an idea and make it a reality.

Youth Parliament is very important to channel the energies of young minds towards positive debating and inculcating a sense of leadership and making them great leaders.

The occasion was graced by Shri K. L. Dalwani, Dy. Secretary, M.P. Vidhan Sabha Secretariat , Shri Ravinish Tiwari, Under Secretary Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, Parliamentary Affairs Deptt. , Smt. Bharti Shrivastava, Assistant Director, Directorate of Public Instruction, Dr. Archna Pandey, Research Officer Vidhyapeeth, Mrs. Deepti Savita Tanwar, Yuva Sansad Incharge.

Madam Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar in her message congratulated the students and teachers for putting up a wonderful show and motivated them to become great leaders. Overall it was a great learning experience for the students.

Orientation Programme

School, teachers, and parents play vital roles in the holistic development of a child. Parents and teachers both have an immense contribution and responsibility in shaping a child’s personality. Delhi Public School Kolar conducted an Orientation Program ‘Freshenza’ for the parents of Classes I and II, with a goal to ensure a positive atmosphere for learning as well as building up a healthy relationship between the parents, teachers, and students. The class teachers apprised the parents with the learning procedures and school philosophy. The parents were also briefed about the functioning of the school, the academic framework, the assessment pattern, co-scholastic activities, etc. The orientation programme proved to be a sincere effort made by the school in educating the parents to look after and guide their children in a proper manner. It also helped in evolving a common teaching strategy and helped the parents identify suitable follow-up methods to reinforce the learning process of their children. Overall, it was a fruitful meeting, and the parents were in high spirits after attending the orientation programme.

Carnival Brings Out The Child in Everyone

In the words of John C Maxwell. “Enjoyment is an incredible energiser to the human spirit”.

‘A day with Superheroes’ one of its kind in the city was organised at DPS Kolar Campus on 19th March 2023 to create happy moments and bring smiles and laughter in kids.

Shri Hari Mohan Guptaji, Chairman, Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University Bhopal & Pro Vice Chairman, Delhi Public School Bhopal-Indore-Kolar Road-Rau and Shri Abhishek Mohan Guptaji, Pro Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, Joint Secretary, Jagran Social Welfare Society motivated the students with their presence.

It was a  vibrant colourful evening which saw the participation of parents, teachers and people of all ages. The kids met their superheroes and discovered their unique powers and explored different activities like Bounty Castle, Obstacle Course, Bunjee, Sack race, Printed games Power Pins super Rodeo, Heroic heights and many more. The school grounds pulsated with scintillating music and a lively crowd. A very special segment catering to the kids’ interest included various rides and games stalls, art craft corners, face painting. Flea market stalls were set up along with an aromatic food court which showcased the cooking expertise of many parents. The three Musical Bingo stage was set on fire by performances of students, parents and teachers. Heena, tattoo, 360-degree Selfie, and Green screen photo booth were added attractions. An array of edible delights, raffle draw and exciting prizes ensured an unforgettable time with near and dear ones. The carnival had something in store for everybody, be it, children or adults.

There were several surprise events anchored by RJ Ms Pinky which kept the atmosphere alive. The all-inclusive event spanning over the day was bursting with fun, games, merry-making activities and exciting prizes for all age groups. The event was witnessed by over 3,000 people (students and their families) from across the city.

The Principal, Ms. Vandana Dhupar, along with her team actively took part in the festivities and enjoyed with the students.

The zest and zeal exhibited by an enthusiastic crowd of visitors and participants made ‘A day with Superheroes’ memorable.

Inter section Group Song Competition – Class 1

“Music is a piece of art that goes in the ears straight to the heart”

Delhi Public School Kolar Road believes in developing each and every aspect of its students’ personalities, and that is what true education is all about. To give the students a competitive platform, an “Intersection Group Song Competition” was conducted for the students of class 1. The theme for the competition was “PATRIOTISM” which was apt for this special day dedicated to the Martyrs’ of our country, Martyrs’ Day. Each and every performance exhilarated the audience with their melodious renditions. The audience was enchanted and swayed by the magical event.

Money Fiesta Activity – Class 1

Hands-on activities in the early years make math topics more enjoyable and understandable. Students of class I at Delhi Public School Kolar participated in “Money Fiesta,” a live market that was put up on the school grounds to further reinforce the topic of money.  Children had a fun-filled experience of buying numerous products from the market using real money. The enriching experience gave the students an opportunity to showcase their proficiency in handling money and also to display their marketing skills. This occasion was used to reinforce various other concepts like addition, subtraction, etc. It created a positive learning environment that provided our students with an amazing experience and they could connect this activity to the real-life experience.
