Excursion to Kerwa Jungle Camp – Classes XI & XII
“Learning doesn’t only happen in classrooms — sometimes, the best lessons are learned under the open sky.”
An enriching educational and recreational excursion was organized for the students of Classes XI and XII to Kerwa Jungle Camp on Friday, 14th November 2025. The trip provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn beyond the confines of the classroom — fostering team spirit, leadership, environmental awareness, and self-confidence.
The excursion commenced with the warm wishes of our Principal, Ms. Vandana Dhupar, who extended her heartfelt greetings to the students on the occasion of Children’s Day.
Students participated with great enthusiasm in a variety of adventure and group activities including trekking, zip-lining, and nature exploration. The tranquil surroundings and well-planned experiences not only rejuvenated their minds but also strengthened bonds of friendship and cooperation.
The Excursion concluded with the closing remarks delivered by our Vice Principal, Ms. Anuradha Telang, and our Headmistress, Ms. Sargam Bahal and with smiles, shared memories, and a deeper appreciation for learning through exploration. The excursion truly embodied the spirit of learning by experiencing — a perfect blend of adventure, discovery, and joy.
Education Excursion to Funpal – Classes IX and X

Delhi Public School Kolar Road Bhopal believes in organizing excursions for its students to enable them to undertake a journey where learning steps out of books and comes alive. The students of classes IX and X went on a picnic to FUNPAL on 14th November 2025 on the occasion of Children’s Day. The trip began early morning, and excitement filled the air. The students enthusiastically enjoyed a variety of rides, games, and fun-filled activities. The vibrant surroundings and lively atmosphere added to the day’s delight. A delicious brunch was served, followed by fun group activities and photo sessions. Teachers ensured that everything was well-organized and safe. The picnic offered a refreshing break from academics and strengthened the bond among classmates. Everyone returned home with wonderful memories and happy hearts.

Fun Excursion – Class I and II

Delhi Public School Kolar organized a fun excursion – movie show for the students of class I and II to celebrate the spirit of Children’s Day. The outing filled the young hearts with laughter and delight as they spent a joyful day with their friends and teachers. The well-planned excursion offered a perfect blend of recreation and togetherness, making the day truly memorable. The day concluded on a cheerful note, leaving the children with radiant smiles and fond memories to cherish.
Annual Science Exhibition
DPS Kolar Road Bhopal’s Science Department successfully organized SCIVERSE – THE UNIVERSE OF INNOVATION on October 14, 2025. Students showcased innovative projects, experiments, and models in physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental science. The exhibition fostered scientific curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Visitors appreciated the clarity of explanations and interactive displays. The event was met with great appreciation from the Principal, Vice Principal, teachers, and visitors, who lauded the students’ enthusiasm and creativity. It was a platform for learning, exploration, and inspiration, fostering a deeper interest in scientific pursuits among all attendees.
Scholastic Book Fair at DPS Kolar Road
Books, Brilliance, and Beyond: Scholastic Book Fair at DPS Kolar Road (23rd -24th October 2025)
The Scholastic Book Fair at Delhi Public School Kolar Road was a joyful celebration of reading, transforming the school into a vibrant literary haven. Students explored a wide range of books—from thrilling tales to inspiring biographies—sparking curiosity and a love for reading.
With enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and teachers, the event promoted literacy and supported the school’s learning resources. Every corner buzzed with energy, every page turned sparked joy, and every reader walked away with a treasure. The fair reminded us all that books don’t just inform—they inspire, uplift, and shape futures.
Scout and Guide (Adventures Camp) in Collaboration with
M.P. Hindustan Scout and Guide
A Scout & Guide Adventure Camp was organised in collaboration with M.P. Hindustan Scout and Guide at Maheshwar from 23rd to 26th October 2025.
The evenings came alive with campfires, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness by the Narmada Ghats.
A memorable experience that strengthened discipline, leadership, and friendship among our young Scouts and Guides!
DPS Kolar Celebrates Teachers’ Day
Delhi Public School, Kolar, hosted a heartfelt Teachers’ Day celebration on September 4, 2025, to honour its educators and the enduring legacy of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The student-led “From Traditions to Trends, A Teacher Transcends’ program featured vibrant cultural performances and a touching felicitation ceremony.
In a unique twist, a traditional “role reversal” segment saw senior students stepping into their teachers’ shoes, fostering empathy and providing invaluable insight into the teaching profession. The school Principal Madam Vandana Dhupar praised the faculty for their pivotal role in nurturing students’ holistic development and fostering accountable citizens.
WOW- The Literary Fest
DPS KOLAR hosted WOW – The Literary Fest on Friday, August 22, 2025, bringing together 11 schools of Bhopal. The event aimed to foster a love for languages and provide a platform for budding speakers, writers, and actors.
Competitions were conducted in English, Hindi and Sanskrit that tested the creativity, vocabulary and oratory skills of the participants. Hall of Characters, Poet’s Palette, Verbal Vogue, Kanth Kalaakaar, Swarang Manch were some of the interesting competitions that left the judges and audience spellbound.
The Overall Champions Trophy and cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- was bagged by DPS Kolar Road, while SPS Gandhinagar bagged Runner Up trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 2,000/-. The Principal of DPS Kolar Road, Ms. Vandana Dhupar appreciated the enthusiasm and efforts of the students and teachers and encouraged the young minds to continue nurturing their talents.
Extraquadrata Techfest 4.0
DPS Kolar Successfully Hosts Extraquadrata Techfest: “Reboot the Past: An Ode to Retro Tech”
DPS Kolar Road – The 4th iteration of the Extraquadrata Techfest was successfully organized on August 6th at DPS Kolar. The tech fest saw participation from 13 schools from Bhopal and Indore, showcasing their skills in various events.
The theme “Reboot the Past: An Ode to Retro Tech” brought a unique blend of nostalgia and innovation, with students competing in 6 exciting events: Scio (quiz), Site Incroyable (web design), Esprit Decode (competitive programming), Lux Captis (photography), Chroma (social media management), and Memesis (meme-making).
After a fierce competition, Mother Teresa Sr. Secondary School secured the title of Victor Ludorum (Overall Event Winner), demonstrating exceptional technical prowess and teamwork.
The Extraquadrata Techfest serves as a platform for students to showcase their technical skills, creativity, and innovation, and we are proud to have hosted such a successful event. We congratulate the winner and all participants for their enthusiasm and dedication. Principal Ms. Vandana Dhupar, Vice Principal Ms. Anuradha Telang, Head mistress Ms. Sargam Bahal and Academic Coordinator Dr. Alpana Verma graced the occasion. Principal Ms. Vandana Dhupar, praised the Organizing Committee Students for their flawless execution of the event and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their future endeavors.
Shri Gurudev Gupta Memorial Inter School Group Dance Competition
“Dance is the hidden language of the soul.” – Martha Graham
Delhi Public School, Kolar Road, Bhopal, hosted the prestigious Shri Gurudev Gupta Memorial Inter School Group Dance Competition on Wednesday, 15th January 2025, to commemorate the 106th birth anniversary of the late Shri Gurudev Guptaji founder and patron of Jagaran Social Welfare Society. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from nine eminent schools across the city, each showcasing their unique talent and energy.
This year’s theme, “The Divine Trinity – Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh,” inspired participants to explore the cosmic balance of creation, preservation, and transformation through dance. Nine schools participated in the competition, with students showcasing their talent and enthusiasm through various dance styles, from classical to contemporary and fusion.
The performances were a testament to the students’ creativity, technique, and overall presentation. The judges, Mr. Prince Yadav, a professional Hip-Hop and Freestyle dancer, and Mr. Ajay and Ms. Ashita Ashiv Jain, Gold Medalists from BHU, Varanasi, had a challenging task in selecting the winners.
The winners of the competition were awarded trophies and certificates and were recognized for their talent and dedication. SAGE International School, Bhopal, emerged victorious, receiving a rolling trophy for being the winner, individual trophies and certificates for the participants along with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/-. Delhi Public School Neelbad Bhopal, secured the runner-up position and, received a rolling Runner up trophy, individual trophies and certificates for the participants along with a cash prize of Rs. 3,000/-. Additionally, special award for the Best Choreography was given to Delhi Public School Rau, Indore and Special award for the Best Costume & Makeup was given to Sagar Public School Gandhinagar.
The participants, judges, sponsors, and volunteers all came together to make the event a resounding success. Madam Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhuppar appreciated the efforts of the team members that contributed towards the success of the event.
