Scout And Guide

Scouting Guiding is an educational movement for young people to shape builds their character through inculcating the values of self-discipline, social service and patriotism. DPS Kolar received Scout and Guide Registration certificate wherein the scouting activities  are conducted for classes VI to VIII. Scout and guide program  aims at  developing  leadership skills  , team work  and  sense of responsibility among the students. The students are made aware of their responsibilities towards the society through  community service programs .They emphasis on practical outdoor activities, including camping, woodcraft, aquatics, hiking, backpacking, and sports. The adventure camps organized for the students teach valuable survival skills and help in character building . The out-of-station adventure camp  organized for the cadets once a year aims to provide students with diverse training opportunities across multiple fields .
