Ajay Singh Yadav Memorial’ Inter School Debate Competition
‘Ajay Singh Yadav Memorial’ Inter School Debate Competition was organized by Green Valley Sr. Secondary School on the motion ‘Artificial Intelligence – Opportunity or Threat’ on August 5th, 2023. Ananya Kulkarni of class X brought laurels to DPS Kolar and bagged 1st Position among all the contestants. 16 schools participated in the event.

Tiger Day Speech Competition 2023
Office of the director, Van Vihar National Park organised a Speech Competition on 27th July, 2023 to celebrate International Tiger Day.
This day is celebrated every year in order to foster an interest in endangered species and promote a sense of belongingness towards wildlife as well as to ensure public participation in the conservation and promotion of wildlife.
Sarthak Jain, Srishti Negi and Sanskriti Chauhan (Class X) of Delhi Public School Kolar Road Bhopal participated in this prestigious speech competition along with 77 other students from various government and private schools from all over Bhopal.
Srishti Negi, Class X Won Third Position In International Tiger Day Speech Competition 2023 and was rewarded with a certificate, gift worth Rs. 2,000/- and momenta in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
CAG Essay Writing Competition
As a part of Audit Diwas 2023 celebrations, Comptroller & Auditor General office has conducted an online essay writing competition on the topic “Role of the Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG) of India in ensuring Government Accountability” for the students of classes IX to XIl for the schools in Bhopal.
Nikita Ambwani of class XII D of Delhi Public School Kolar Road has been selected among the top 20 students in Bhopal . She was felicitated in the prize distribution ceremony held on 23rd November at the Comptroller & Auditor General Office.
Madam Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar congratulated Nikita Ambwani for her achievement.
Inter School Debate Competition “Carpe diem- Seize the Day”.

Students of Delhi Public School Kolar, brought laurels to their school by bagging the First position in the Tenth Inter School Debate Competition “Carpe diem- Seize the Day”. It was organised by Sagar Public School Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal, on November 22, 2023. The topic of the debate was Gene editing violates the principle of survival of the fittest”.
Aditi Avdhani won the best speaker award (For the motion) and Ananya Kulkarni won the best speaker award (Against the Motion). DPS Kolar Road Bhopal won the Overall Champions’ Trophy.
It was indeed an enriching experience for the participants who competed with students from fifteen prestigious schools of the city.
Madam Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar congratulated the winners and the Department of English for the wonderful achievement.
School Youth Parliament Competition
In the annual prize distribution ceremony of Pandit Kunjilal Dubey National Parliamentary University held on 17/08/2023 the students of Delhi Public School, Kolar Road were awarded Special Efficiency Award for their excellent performance in the School Youth Parliament Competition. 13 schools of Bhopal participated in the Youth Parliament Competition .
Pranjal Patel, Arya Sharma, Anuj Chanodiya from class XI I and Sanskriti Chauhan, Harshika Saxena from class X were honored with special efficiency award and citation and trophy.
Vidhyarthi Vigyan Manthan(WM}
WM is a national program that is organised every year for young scientists. It is an online exam that is supported by VIBHA, Vigyan Prasar, and NCERT. The exam was conducted on 30th October 2023 and the result was declared on 11th November 2023.
Amongst the 48 participants from DPS Kolar, six students have cleared WM 2023 exam in class VI and class X segment.
The top 3 scorers from Class VI are:-

- Vaidehi Raj – 3rd Position

We are also elated to share thatAnvi Kandpal of class VI apart from securing first position in school, has also second position in district and fourth position in the State in WM 2023 exam. She has been selected for the State Level Camp Madhya Pradesh from Region 2.
French Word Power Competition
Students of Delhi Public School, Kolar Road, participated in French Word Power competition conducted by Prayatna Educational Society in collaboration with Quebec Government office in Mumbai and Alliance Franc;aise de Normandie. The competition was organized at the state level as well as the national level.
Three students from DPS Kolar Road qualified for National Level Aarika Tiwari of class V secured a Gold Medal!
Pratibha Samman Yojana (Talent Recognition Scheme)
Delhi Public School, Kolar Road proudly waved their flag once again in Pratibha Samman Yojana (Talent Recognition Scheme) organized under the ages of NITI Aayog, the United Nations, and the Ministry of Sports for the year2022-23. Total number of 1760 students participated at district level. Dhairya Garg was awarded with Rs 1 Lakh for his unmatched performance in PSY state level programme and has also qualified for National level competition. Advita Muchrikar, lshita Nayak, Lavanya Hedau, Saharsh Rajak, Anushka Verma, Anushree Jain were awarded for painting competition. Ashrudeep Maharana, Ananya Kulkarni, Shreeti Jain, Harshika Saxsena, Aadity Pani and Sanskriti Chouhan were awarded for securing district level position in the competition. The school principal, Mrs. Vandana Dhupar, was also honoured with a commendation certificate during the program, motivating students. Dr. Aaradhana Varma, the supervising teacher, received an appreciation certificate and is the first woman in MP state to receive such a prestigious award. Ms. Shweta Gupta was awarded with an appreciation certificate.
ABHIVYAKTI 2023 – Online Competition
DPS Kolar Students won 5 competitions in Abhivyakti 2023 – Online Competitions organized by Bal Bharti Public School Gadarwara. Leading schools across the country participated in this event.
- Sanskriti Chauhan of Class X won Second Position in Versification.

Festival de literatura
DPS Kolar students showcased their vibrant talent, hard work, and dedication at Shri Gurudev Gupta Memorial Literary Fest ‘Festival de Literatura’. DPS Bhopal was the host of the event, conducted on 13th of January 2024. Many eminent schools participated from around the city of Bhopal. Aditya Kumar Mishra of class I clinched third position in ‘An Ode to Joy (Humor in poetry). Rushil Dhoot of class II stood second in Declamation.
SAI Global Debate, 2024
The students of DPS KOLAR excelled in 4th Edition of the SAi Debate Online Competition in both Junior (VI to VIII) and Senior category (IX to XII). Around 41 schools from 6 countries namely Kenya, Oman, UAE, Uganda, Pakistan and India participated in the competition. In Junior category Nishtha Agarwal of class VIII made us proud by winning FIRST position. The other students who performed well and reached the final round were -senior category – Avnish Dhengle (Class IX), Abeer Sharma (class IX) Junior category Aalia Saharwan Shabir (Class VI 11).

- Damini Patel of X D participated in the solo classical dance category and was First in block, district, and division level and secured 3RD POSITION IN STATE LEVEL.

Inter DPS Quiz – National Level 2023
Delhi Public School Kolar Road Bhopal ranked second at the National Level Inter DPS Quiz 2023 held at DPS Mathura Road on 21st December 2023, after secureing first position in the Inter DPS General Knowledge Quiz, zonal level competition, organized by DPS Dwarka.
Student participants in the senior category were Dhairya Garg, class XI and Aarush Shrivastava, class IX. They played well and earned the praise of the quiz master.
In the Junior Category, DPS Kolar ranked fifth. The student participants in the Junior category were Aryan Singh, class VIII and Anvi Kandpal, class VI.
Total of 200 plus Delhi Public Schools pan India participated in this quiz at the zonal level. Seven teams reached the National Finale to battle for the title in both the Junior and Senior categories.
The quiz master was the quiz genius, Aditya Nath Mubayi, co-founder and director of Quiz Craft Global. Shri V. K. Shunglu Vice Chairman, of the DPS Society, and Vice Chairman, Managing Committee, DPS Mathura Road graced the occasion along with other members of the DPS Society.
Kaun Banega Crorepati Junior
Srishti Negi of Class X, participated in the famous Kaun Banega Crorepati Junior, organized for the age group 8 yrs to 15 yrs nationwide. She was amongst the top 10 students who qualified for Fastest Finger First Studio round out of 25000 students selected through online test, ground audition and personal interview. She featured in KBC Junior Episode No. 76 & 77 from 27th November 2023 to 30th November 2023. Shrishti received a certificate of participation and the glorious opportunity to meet personally legendry Shri Amitabh Bachchan.

All India Online Quiz Competition ‘SAFE IN CYBERIA’
“QUIZ Competition is like a puzzle, the more you solve the better you become.”
Kids young and old are exposed to the evils of cybercrime as they are spending more than usual time studying, playing games or simply exploring.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai in collaboration with NDTV organised an All India Online Quiz Competition ‘SAFE IN CYBERIA’ from July to August, 2023 in several rounds for classes VII-XII.
The competition focused on several sub themes like Medical Robotics, 5G, Cyber-crime, Data Privacy and Artificial Intelligence. The quiz aimed to create awareness about cyber security, online theft of data and fraud etc.
The Quiz was conducted in four stages. Vanshika Sachdeva, Ranveer Garg, Gargi Arse, Ahaana Jiyani, Hansika Khatri,Shivansh Kumar and Aarav Ratre from DPS, Kolar Road are the Zonal Final winners in this competition. The students received gift hampers for clearing each round.
HALOCON V5.0
Students of DPS Kolar participated in HALOCON V5.0, organized by DPS Indore. In all, 15 schools participated in the event. DPS Kolar students have once again shown their excellent technical skills by winning laurels. In the ECode Competition, Dhairya Garg of class XI and Varad Sharma of class IX won first position and in the Monochrome Event, Chitransh Agarwal of class XI bagged second position.
(C)ync V9.0 Techfest
16 Students of DPS Kolar participated in Tech Fest (C)ync V9.0 organized by DPS Bhopal on 12th August 2023 for the students of classes IV to XI. A total of 10 schools from the city participated in the event.
In Chat Bot Creation Competition Shashwat Singh and Vari Mahere of IX won first position and a cash prize of Rs. 3,000/-. In the Cryptic Crossword event, Sulakshana Guha of class XI and Aarush Shrivastava of class IX bagged the second position and a cash prize of Rs. 1,500/-

IT Fest 2023 was organised by Cyber Crew DPS Greater Faridabad on 9th November 2023.
DPS Kolar won the following prizes in the event:
- Special Jury Award was given in the Al Olympics event to Shashwat Singh and Vari I Mahere from class IX for their Chatbot on educational platform.
- Best Project in the Robomation event was awarded to Himanshu Soni and Sachit Bhargava from VIII for their innovative project on LPG Gas Detector
- Second Prize in theApp-a-Palooza event was won by Utsav Chouhan and Anamay Mishra from Class IX for their app for the specially a bled people.
ASN G20 International Fest@ India 2023
AFS organised an event ASN G20 International Fest@ India 2023, in which Divya Lalchandani of DPS Kolar, Class XII-C secured the third position and Aashita Yaduwanshi Class XI-B bagged the consolation prize in brochure designing competition. In Seeds to Screen – Documentary Making event Shaurya Pandey Class XI-A secured the third position.
IT Tech Fest (Online) organized by CyberCrew
DPS Kolar Participated in the IT Tech Fest (Online) organized by CyberCrew, IT Club of Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad on 9th November 2023. The team won several prizes –
- Firewall Fortress – Anshika Agrawal and Vihaan Singh Ni ranjan of Class V won the second position.
- Joystick Jamboree- Arnav Verma of Class VI won the Jury’s Special Award.
- Robommation – Himanshu Soni and Sachit Bhargava of class VIII clinched the Best ProjectAward.
- App-A- Palooza Utsav Chouhan and Anamay Mishra of Class IX won second position.

DPS Kolar Participated in the Inter DPS IT Fest organized by Delhi Public School, GBN, Delhi, on 16th December 2023. With pride, Department of Computer Science shares the results of various events conducted in the IT Fest.
In IT Quiz our team comprising AARUSH SHRIVASTAVA from class IX A and DHAIRYA GARG from class XI B secured the first position.
In the Reel-making competition, our team comprising BUDDHA DEV DAS from class XI C and RAYYAN KHAN from class IX F won the first position.

13 students qualified for International Level from DPS Kolar for SOF INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH OLYMPIAD and 11 appeared for the Examination on 12th February 2023.
- Aadya Singh ofClass X created history by securing INTERNATIONAL RANK 1.
- Anvi Kand pal of Class V, Shreeti Jain of Class IX, Sanvi Rai and Nysa Negi of Class XI gave a stupendous performance by bagging Certificate of Zonal Excellence.

Commerce Olympiad
The ICSI Online Commerce Olympiad, hosted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) on December 14, 2023, witnessed remarkable performance from the students of Delhi Public School Kolar Road. Notably, Vertika Sharma of class XII secured 186th National Rank and 1st class rank, while Nysa Negi of class XII claimed the 2nd class rank. In the Class XI category, Rishika Kumar clinched the 1st class rank, followed by Amandeep Singh in 2nd place, and Ananya Bhugra in 3rd place.
Among the 10 participants, eight advanced to Round 2, scheduled for February 21. The result is awaited.
AI Olympiad
An online Olympiad on the Al subject was organised by MethdAI for the students of classes VI to VIII and classes IX to X.
DPS Kolar Rank No. 1 among 90+ schools who participated from India and UAE. 7000+ students had registered for the Olympiad and following are the Global rank holders from our school:
