With profound pleasure, we share that Delhi Public School Kolar Road has been an honorary member of AFS Intercultural Programs India since July 2020.

AFS Intercultural Programs is an international, voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills, and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world.

AFS Intercultural Programs India was present till the 1960s but ceased its operation in the late 1960s due to political reasons.  It was relaunched in 2005 and on 8th November 2021 celebrated its 16th anniversary.

Through exchange programs, education initiatives, volunteerism, and advocacy, AFS empowers young people from all backgrounds with essential global skills and a passion for making a difference.

AFS Intercultural Programs India has sent over 1000 plus participants from India on various yearlong and short-term programs. The participants include various high school students, educators, volunteers, and renowned educationists.

With the help of wonderful, motivated, and dedicated volunteers all over India, AFS India has hosted 500 plus participants on various yearlong and short-term programs in various cities.

Our School participated in various events organized by AFS India. Dipsites participated enthusiastically and came up with flying colors.
