DPS Kolar Art and Craft Exhibition – SRIJAN
The Department of Art and Craft,Delhi Public School, Kolar Road Bhopal, organised an art and craft exhibition ‘Srijan’on 18th March 2024 in the school premises to provide limitless opportunities for creative minds. It was an initiative to bring forth our students’ innate skills and talent and hone their creative genius.The art gallery was abuzz with excitement as it showcased the handicrafts and paintings of our students in their myriad hues.
Our budding artists presented many creative ideas, which left all the viewers dumb-struck and full of praise for the talent on display. The exhibition provided the right platform for students to showcase the varied and beautiful articles and the exquisite paintings done by them throughout the academic year. The parents were delighted to watch the colourful displays of their wards and lauded the students’ efforts, who, under their teachers’ guidance, had put up a fantastic array of artifacts. Principal, Ms.Vandana Dhupar applauded the students for their creative flair.
Inter School Competition – Chef Delavenir 2024
A National level Chef Competition ‘CHEF DE LÀVENIR’ (CHEF OF FUTURE) 2024 was organised by Jagran Lakecity University on 11th and 12th January 2024 for the students of classes XI and XII, to provide a platform to display the students’ culinary talent, creativity, innovation, and technique. A total of 29 teams participated in this interschool event.
The judges for the competition were Chef Narendra Rajput (Executive Chef of Safal Retreat) and Chef Dr. P. S Bali (Executive Chef of Oberoi Chain of hotels, Delhi) Avi Aditya, class XI and Chitransh Agrawal, class XI won the overall second position and Harshita Patharia, class XI and Shourya Pandey, class XI bagged the overall third position. To add to this Filza Farooq of class XI won a special mention for her efforts in the dessert.
Bhopal Literature and Art Festival
Bhopal Literature and Art Festival offered an excellent platform for the budding artists across the city. in the Painting Competition organized in Bharat Bhawan. Sonal Singh of class XI D won a prize.
She was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5000, a certificate, and a gift hamper. A total of 98 students from reputed schools and colleges took part.
Inter School Drawing Competition
DPS Kolar Road bagged the Second position in the Inter School Drawing Competition, organized by Jawahar Lal Nehru School on 28 July, 2023.
13 schools participated in the event, which was conducted at the Jawahar Lal School campus. Ishita Agnihotri of class VIII painted a vibrant and aesthetic picture on the theme NATURE AND ENVIRONMENT. She won a Trophy, Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 2,000/-.

ABHIVYAKTI 2023 – Online Competition
DPS Kolar Students won 5 competitions in Abhivyakti 2023 – Online Competitions organized
by Bal Bharti Public School Gadarwara. Leading schools across the country participated
in this event.
Akshita Tiwari and Angel Talreja of Class VIII won third position in Vasudeva Kutumbkum.
National Balrang
National Bal Rang Dance competition was held at Manav Sanghralaya. 12 students of Delhi Public School Kolar Road participated in the same competing with around 17 schools of Bhopal. Damini Patel of class X D cleared Division level and qualified for the State Level.
NINAAD- Inter School Folk Song Competition
DPS Kolar Road bagged the FIRST position in NINAAD, the Inter School Folk Song Competition, organized by Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar on 28 July, 2023.
17 schools participated in the event, in which 14 students of DPS Kolar Road participated and performed exceptionally well and won the applause and admiration of the judges. The team won a trophy and a cash prize of 21000 rupees.
