Delhi Public School, Kolar Celebrates Its Twelfth Birthday

Delhi Public School, Kolar, proudly celebrated its foundation day on July 5, 2025, showcasing a vibrant display of creativity and enthusiasm. This event highlighted the school’s dedication to fostering a sense of community, promoting environmental awareness, and striving for academic excellence. ‘Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra,’ an initiative by the Jagran Social Welfare Society, also marked its anniversary.

The presence of the chief guest, Shri Hari Mohan Gupta, Founder and Chairman of the Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, Chancellor of Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, Pro-Vice Chairman of DPS Bhopal-Indore, Kolar Road, and Rau Indore, and Founder of Gurudev Gupta Shiksha Kendra and Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra, Shri Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Pro Chancellor-Jagran Lakecity University, Joint Secretary & Vice Chairman (Executive Board) – Jagran Social Welfare Society, Member, Board of Management – DPS Bhopal, Indore, Rau & Kolar road Bhopal graced the event.

Other distinguished guests included Shri Sanjeev Saxena, President (Project, Legal & PR), Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, and Managing Committee Member of DPS-Bhopal & DPS-Kolar Road, Shri Nitin Ambaselkar, President (Finance & Accounts), Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, and CAO of DPS- Bhopal, Indore, Kolar Road & Rau, Ms Megha Muktibodh, Dean of Shiksha Kendra, Bhopal-Indore & Kolar Road, Principal of DPS Neelbad, Mrs. Vinita Malik and other dignitaries. The Pro Vice-Chairman inaugurated the Botanical Garden, established to create environmental awareness and sustainability. He congratulated and praised the staff and students for the achievements the School has made over the past years.

The festivities based on the theme ‘Dozen Years of DPS – Growing Bright, Rooted Right’ commenced with classroom decoration, a fete organised for students of Classes III to VIII, and a movie screening. The cultural program was a spectacular showcase of talent and creativity, beginning with the lighting of diyas and a Ganesh Vandana. A standout moment of the event was the play titled ‘Ballet of Learning – The Green Legacy,’ which depicted the life and contributions of the renowned Indian scientist, Acharya Jagdish Chandra Bose.

The School Principal Vandana Dhupar emphasised the significance of education and the environment, and extended her best wishes to everyone on the foundation day. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and cherished memories, imbuing a sense of pride and belonging.

Delhi Public School Kolar Road Bhopal Completes 11 years

July 5, 2024, marked a significant milestone for Delhi Public School, Kolar Road, as it celebrated its 11th Birthday. The theme for this year’s celebration was ‘Educate & Elevate’. The school celebrated this momentous day with great enthusiasm and pride. ‘Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra,DPS Kolar Road an initiative by the Jagran Social Welfare Society, also celebrated it’s 8 birthday on the same day.

The event was graced by the presence of the honourable Shri Hari Mohan Gupta, Founder & Chairman, Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, Pro-Vice Chairman, DPS Bhopal-Indore, Kolar Road& Rau Indore, Founder, Gurudev Gupta Shiksha Kendra & Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra. Other distinguished guests included Shri Sanjeev Saxena, President (Project, Legal & PR), Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, and Managing Committee Member of DPS-Bhopal & DPS-Kolar Road, Shri Nitin Ambaselkar, President (Finance & Accounts), Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, and CAO of DPS-Bhopal, Indore, Kolar Road & Rau, Dean of Shiksha Kendra, Bhopal-Indore & Kolar Road, Madam Vinita Malik Principal DPS Bhopal also was the part joyous celebrations .Representatives from DPS Nipania Indore and DPS Rau were also present to mark the festivity of the day .

Pro Vice Chairman sir appreciated the efforts of the staff and students. Sir also congratulated for the school’s achievements over the past decade.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp invoking the blessings of the Almighty. Respected Pro-Vice Chairman Sir inaugurated the Personality Development Lab on this joyous occasion. Students enjoyed puppet show and decorated their Class rooms. Madam Principal Mrs.Vandana Dhupar, accorded a warm welcome and shared the school’s journey, achievements, and future aspirations. She emphasised the importance of quality education and holistic development of students.

A thematic talk was followed by a series of captivating performances, included a melodious greetings by the choir group,Ganesh Vandana by the toddlers of Castle of Dreams and a spectacular dance drama on ‘Education Elevates Life’ laid emphasis on using Social media responsibly. The entire environment resonated with joy and celebration.

The celebration concluded with the cake-cutting ceremony and the presentation of art work and saplings by the students .The day ended with a determination to Aim,Aspire and Achieve .Students pledged to make it through the path of success towards their bright scintillating future as tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today .

Delhi Public School Kolar Road Bhopal Completes 10 years

July 5, 2023, marks the day that Delhi Public School, Kolar Road steps into the 10th year of its existence. From its inception on July 5, 2013 it has been an exemplar of an academic institution built on a legacy of excellence and leadership. With its 10th birthday in the 2023-24 academic year, DPS Kolar Road celebrated with great zeal and ebullience a decade of leadership and influence in the field of education. It was a moment of great pride and elation as ‘Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra ‘ an endeavour of Jagran Social Welfare Society also celebrated its birthday today.

The chief guest on the occasion was Shri Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Vice Chairman, Executive Committee & Joint Secretary, Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal, Pro-Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, Managing Committee Member,DPS-Bhopal-Indore, Kolar Road & Rau Indore.

The chain of the spectacular event started with a theme talk highlighting the topic ‘Service before Self’. The theme of the event was ‘Decennalia: Let’s grow Together’. This was followed by an array of performances like ‘Welcome Song’ a melodious rendition by the choir group, a captivating skit unfurling the theme ‘Accelerating excellence’, and a scintillating performance in the form of a movie show. The entire ambiance reverberated with fun and frolic.

The chief guest congratulated the staff & students and spoke highly about the accomplishments of school. The teachers who completed 10 years in service were felicitated at the function. The Principal, Mrs. Vandana Dhupar welcomed the august gathering with her pearls of wisdom. “We express gratitude to everyone who has helped shape an organization that provides the opportunity for acquiring knowledge and skills that will enable students to develop their full potential, and become successful members of society”, said the Principal.

The programme culminated with the cake cutting ceremony and cards & bouquet presentation by the students.
