Sports Skill Development Camp at DPS Kolar
The Physical Education Department of DPS Kolar designed and conducted Sports Skill Development Camp from 13th to 22nd March 2024, for classes IV- IX. As an institution, we strongly believe in nurturing holistic development, where sports play an integral role along with academics. This camp was designed to groom our talented athletes and prepare them for the upcoming sports tournaments in the new session.
FIT India School Week
Delhi Public School Kolar Road celebrated ‘FIT INDIA SCHOOL WEEK’ on December 6, 2023. Various competitions and activities were held to enhance the physical and mental fitness of the students and staff.
To take the mission of Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi forward, as per the guidelines of CBSE, to instill the understanding for regular activities and to enhance the self-esteem and confidence in the students, an assembly was organized by the students of class XI. Teachers, along with the students, participated in the various events. The students were encouraged to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle. Various activities such as Quiz, Zumba Dance, Pledge of Fitness, indigenous sports were held to celebrate the event. All the students of the school attended the event with great enthusiasm.

JSWS (U-15) Cricket Cup 2024
Jagran Social Welfare Society organised 1st JSWS (U- 15) Cricket Cup 2024. DPS Kolar Team participated and brought laurels to the school by winning the tournament.
The school won the Cricket Tournament after defeating DPS Neelbad.
In the league matches DPS Kolar defeated DPS Nepania and DPS Rau. All the DPS Schools under the Jagran Social Welfare Society showcased their skills and talents in this tournament. A total of 8 Matches were played by the teams.The positions are as follows: –

Dhairya Adlakha was declared Man of the Match in the match against DPS Rau.
Daksh Parashar was declared Man of the Finals & Player of the Tournament.

SGFI State Level Basketball Tournament
DPS Kolar Road Bhopal is elated to share that Koushiki Singh of ‘ class 8th got selected in U- 14 SGFI States Bhopal Basketball Team. She performed exceptionally well in the states tournament and played a very important role in getting Bhopal team into the semifinals. Team Bhopal got the 3rd Place by beating the home team SHAHDOL in the SGFI State Basketball Tournament and Koushiki played a very important role in all the matches.
JSWS (U-15) Basketball Tournament
Boys and girls runner up JSWS under 15 basketball tournament. Held at dps Kolar 23 November 2023 to 25 november 2023.
- Aarya Sharma (Girl’s) became the best player of the tournament in the JSWS Cup Basketball Tournament.
- Devejya sahu (Boy’s) become the best scorer in the JSWS Cup Basketball Tournament.

1st JSWS Badminton Tournament
lshita Arya of class X and Pranshi Sharma of class IX won gold medals in girls double event. The tournament was organised by DPS Bhopal. 32 players from 4 schools, DPS Rau, DPS Indore, DPS Bhopal and DPS KOLAR participated in this tournament. lshita Arya and Pranshi Sharma played extraordinary well and won gold medals in girls double event.
